Familicity is a household organiser. It needs to know who is in your family and what they've done — and nothing else. We don't run ads, we don't sell data, and there is no third-party analytics or tracking SDK in the app.

What we store

Who can see it

Family data is visible to the members of that family. If you link your family with another household — for shared custody — the linked household sees only the members and chores that were explicitly shared with it. Nothing is public, and nothing is shared with anyone else.

Children

Children appear in a family as members managed by an adult. A child's record holds their name, an optional photo, and their chore history — nothing more. Notifications to children are off unless a parent turns them on.

Where it lives

Data is stored in Google Cloud in Frankfurt, Germany (europe-west3). Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication and push notifications by Firebase Cloud Messaging, both operated by Google. Traffic between the app and the backend is encrypted in transit.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

Write to hello@familicity.io from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your account and everything attached to it. If you're the last member of a family, the family goes with it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect.
